Disclaimer: I’m extremely tired right now, but I promised at
least 100 words a day-clever or not J
It’s good to do fun things on
Thursdays nights. It’s not the weekend yet, so you’re in the middle of real
life. Having fun on Thursdays is kind
of like having good friends because true friendships are recognized the best in
the midst of ordinary life stuff (and life suck). The best friendships thrive
that way, like fun can thrive on a weekday night.
Both things remind you not to forget.
Don’t forget that life isn’t just about the necessary, or
the ordinary, but that life is also about the “extra,” the magic, the fun. It’s about who you were when you were little,
and who you still want to be in your imagination.
Dane and I spent some great quality time with our dear
friends, Scott and LeeAnna tonight. We ate, drank, laughed, talked, played 221B
Baker Street, and nerded out over Sherlock Holmes while watching the new season
of Sherlock. I’m so grateful to have
people like this in my life.
Friendship is at once a balm and an energizer. The best
thing about this? The more you need it, the more powerful it is.
